Should you buy a car, an SUV or a pickup?
Cars vs SUV's vs pickup trucks The car industry is a extremely vast. There are many different types of cars, for example: convertibles, coupes, sedans, hatchbacks, pickup trucks, SUV's and more. In 2019, sedans and coupes are gradually becoming obsolete and SUV's and pickup trucks are gaining popularity. Why is that? In this blogpost I will attempt to explain why this gradual shift to larger cars in America is a good thing for most people. Firstly, I will talk about fuel economy. If you wanted to buy a large SUV or a pickup truck in the late 1990's and early 2000's you had to be ready to pay a lot of money for gasoline. These vehicles came with large V6 or V8 engines that would get horendous gas mileage. But now, in 2019, many SUV's and pickups come with smaller 4 or 6 cylinder engines that, in some cases, have forced induction (turbochargers, superchargers) or hybrid technology, this makes them extremely economical compared to there V8 counterparts.
